The Parrot Clan

The parrot clan are receiving the mail
by the waft of the wind’s soft voice
they hear
of strange goings on on a pirate ship
where some of the clan

seem to be having some fun
and the old ones and young ones
are riding the waves.
“I hope they are not up to mischief”,he whispers,
“and why don’t we think of a bit of a dance
to remember the travellers? or even a bit
of a cuddle?”
“Let’s send them the picture”, said she.
